Sarah Merriam, M.Sc, ESCP, ENV SP, is the Environmental Director for Parsons and a Senior Environmental Planner specializing in environmental management, construction monitoring and compliance, and wildlife mitigation and monitoring. She has worked for federal, provincial and municipal governments and has led complex multidisciplinary projects under the Class Environmental Assessment, Transit Project Assessment Process and Individual Environmental Assessments. Sarah is experienced securing permits and authorizations, including from Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), and is able to obtain buy-in from various stakeholder groups on complex and sometimes controversial projects.
