Qasim Saddique is a Management Consultant and Economist. For the past 20 years, he has worked in strategy, sustainability, environmental assessments, socio-economic development, and research in diverse industries. He is the founder, President, and Principal Consultant of Suslop. Qasim has had the privilege of working with First Nations communities across Canada, different levels of government, and mining companies on strategy and First Nations partnership frameworks. More recently, he has led the development of all-season roads in northern Ontario on behalf of First Nation proponents, which sets a new precedent for building First Nations-led large infrastructure in remote places. Qasim holds an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York with specializations in finance and strategy, and a M.Sc. in the Political Economy of Development from SOAS, University of London, UK. Qasim is also a Ph.D. candidate at the Schulich School of Business in Strategy and Policy.
