Mark MacDougall, a Senior Regulatory Consultant with Shared Value Solutions, works to support communities navigate through impact assessments. Bridging technical and regulatory understanding, he focuses on ensuring that communities are equipped with a complete understanding of project impacts to allow for free and prior informed decision-making. Mark holds a core belief that the balance of decision-making power regarding the development of lands and waters should be held at the community level. Driven by the relationships he has forged working with Indigenous communities across Canada, Mark works to ensure that development reflects community values and benefit future generations. Mark is a member of the 2024 OAIA Conference Planning Committee and is a member on the Board of the Ontario Association for Impact Assessment (OAIA).
