Greg Hayes is an associate and environmental planner at Dillon Consulting Limited, with nine years of experience in environmental assessment (EA) and land use planning. His experience is focused on streamlined/Class EA studies for provincial and municipal roads, bridges, transit, water/wastewater, and related facilities. In addition to his project work, Greg leads a monthly call with Dillon’s Environmental Planning Technical Group which involves discussion of best practices, emerging technologies, and other topics. One of the key focus areas of the call in recent months has been encouraging the group to use technology in EA studies by raising awareness of what tools are currently available as well as opportunities to apply technology in new, creative ways
