Robert (Rob) Young leads Hatch’s ISO 14001 Certified Environmental Management System that focuses on sustainability in Hatch’s operations. He has over 30 years’ experience serving resource, construction, and public sector clients. His experiences in environmental impact assessment, environmental due diligence assessments, compliance auditing, and environmental planning and environmental management and permitting on major infrastructure and energy construction projects span to Ontario, Nova Scotia, and the Arctic. Rob has completed environmental impact assessments for highway twinning; new highway projects; municipal roads; renewable energy projects; high-pressure steel gas pipelines; offshore oil and gas exploratory drilling and seismic programs; small craft harbours; and marine infill projects. Rob’s international experience includes environmental due diligence assessments for project sites in the USA and Spain.
